Tour of the Falls
$62.00A natural phenomenon and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls is an immense 1.7 km wide curtain of water cascading 100m into the gorge. Around 550 million litres of water fall over the lip every minute in High Water Season. Surrounding the falls is a thick rainforest, sustained by spray created by the thundering falls. There are plant species here which are rarely seen elsewhere in Zambia or Zimbabwe. To discover how the Falls were formed and what local customs and traditions surround them, it is well worth taking a guided tour. These tours are extremely informative and end with a visit to the local art and crafts center. Tours may be conducted from the Zambian side or Zimbabwean side or a combination of both sides.

Tour of the Falls- Avani / RLH residents
$42.00Victoria Falls is an all year round destination but as the water levels fluctuate, it’s good to plan your visit in the right season. Rafting at Victoria Falls is dependent on the Zambezi water levels. ‘Low water season’ is the most exciting from around mid July to early January with water levels dropping progressively until the lowest levels are reached during October / November. Annual rains start in the middle of November but it’s only in January that the headwaters hit Victoria Falls, levels climb again and ‘high water season’ or ‘Green Season’ starts. The peak of the annual flood usually hits the falls around Easter time.
