The day begins with meeting your boat guide on the banks of the Thamalakane River, moments after leaving Maun by motorboat you will be cruising along the unspoiled waterways of the Boro River until crossing the famous buffalo fence where the Okavango Delta begins, your guide will be sharing first-hand knowledge of the area’s wildlife whilst enjoying sightings from the banks that may include hippos, elephants grazing and many species of antelope from remote palm islands.

After your morning boat ride you will be met by one of our helicopters on the banks of the river before experiencing an hour long doors off scenic flight. Instantly after lifting the helicopter will offer a completely different perspective opening up the vastness of the Okavango Delta right before your eyes. The floodplains support larger numbers of grazers and smaller numbers of hopeful predators, all on offer with entirely unrestricted views as the scenic flight is operated doors off. Headsets are provided for constant commentary from your passionate pilot throughout the scenic flight.

Upon landing you will be met by your game drive guide who will have a picnic lunch organised before your game drive begins. Operated in a wildlife rich and private area of the Okavango Delta you will have the opportunity to sight incredible game from your open top safari vehicle. Late afternoon you will be transferred back to Maun and your accommodation. This experience offers wildlife sightings and delta landscapes from the air, boat and land all in one activity-packed day.
