Chobe game drive

Chobe full day Game Drive (10h)

Experience one of Africa’s true wildlife gems in this 11,700- square-kilometre wildlife reserve. Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first proclaimed national park and is also the most biologically diverse, enjoying one of the greatest concentrations of game in all of Africa…and is certainly Africa’s largest concentration of African elephant.

The park is noted for its population of lions that prey on juvenile or sub-adult elephants. Common sightings can include the African painted dog, blue wildebeest, Cape buffalo, civet, giraffe, hyena, leopard, puku (a rare type of antelope), tsessebe, zebra and much more. The Chobe River, that flows along the north-east border of the park, is a major watering spot for large breeding herds of elephant, as well as families of antelope and Cape African Buffalo.

Birding is virtually incomparable and at various times of the year you can observe large numbers of carmine bee-eaters, spoonbills, ibis, various species of storks, ducks and other waterfowl that proliferate in the area.
